GANGTOK,
20 Jun: A complaint of theft was registered at Ranipool Police
against an unknown person on 19 June. As per the FIR, the complainant along
with her three sisters had gone to Smile Land Water Park to swim and had kept
their belongings on the side of the swimming pool area. While they were
swimming, one of the staff members of the park saw a person running away with their bags. He immediately intimated the
complainant and they tried to apprehend the thief, but he could not be tracked
down.
It was reported that the thief had made
away with 02 ladies bags containing 3 mobile phones, 1 gold chain [3 tolas], 1
pair gold earrings [1/2 tola], 1 gold bracelet [3 tolas], 2 ATM cards, 1
driving license, pan card, 1 wrist watch and 2 ladies money purse. The staff
who had seen the thief was examined to get accurate information. Efforts are on
to trace out and apprehend the accused.
