Boy drowns in Tumin khola

GANGTOK, 20 June: A 17-year-old boy hailing from Lower Tumin in East Sikkim drowned in the Tumin khola on 19 June. As per the police, the teenager was an epilepsy patient and had gone fishing to Tumin khola. This information suggests that he might have suffered an epileptic fit and drowned in the river. The dead body of the deceased was handed over to his legal guardians after post mortem.
