GANGTOK, 24 July: A free health camp under National Health Mission was organised at Milk Production Cooperative Society Bhawan, Singbel today.
A press release informs that around 80 persons attended the camp and were provided with free medicine. The medical team comprised of MO, Singtam hospital, Dr Tashi Bhutia, Laxmi Sharma [pharmacy section] and Srijana Pradhan [Nurse].
During the camp, a few patients were found to suffer from high blood pressure, anaemia, eye sight related problems and were advised to go for further treatment. The people of Singbel are thankful for the free health camp and hope that more such camps are organised in the future as well, the release mentions.
