We, the general public of Samdong, Sreebadam, Buksam Deythang, Bon Reshi, West Sikkim have been experiencing power cut off for the last many days. The electricity is not supplied by the department between 7 pm to 12 am daily. Due to this the students are facing problems in their students and also domestic chores are disturbed.
We also grieve on the telephone service in these areas. The telephone lines were disconnected in August 2008 by the concerned authorities. In spite of number of requests made to the authorities, the public here were denied the service. Now some of the people here have started to receive the telephone bill, with no connection as such.
The people here feel that it is the sheer careless of the concerned departments.
