GANGTOK, 24 April: Joint Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Sikkim Centre, Tadong, Dr. H. Rahman, has been granted the “Cutting Edge Research Enhancement and Scientific Training Award” [DBT-CREST] to undertake research in frontier areas like Nano-Biotechnology for a period of six months, informs a press release.
Dr. Rahman will work with Prof Kelly Hughes, Professor, Chair of Microbiology in University of Fribourg, Fribourgh, Switzerland on “Development of flagellar nano-tubes to be used as vaccine for Salmonellosis” which will open a new area in the field of vaccinology, the release adds.
