GANGTOK, 28 May: A tourist lost his life after falling from a height in West Sikkim on 26 May.
As per the Sikkim Police social media page, the tourist had come with his family to Pelling in West Sikkim on 26 May from Maharashtra and had gone to visit Kanchenjunga Falls. At around 11 a.m. when the said tourist was trying to board the taxi parked on the edge of the road he slipped and fell almost 50 feet down the road. The dead body has been handed over to the family members after inquest and post mortem. A case of unnatural death has been registered at Gyalshing Police Station.
