RONGLI, 02 Dec: The distribution of uniforms to children at ICDS centres has begun from the Rongli ICDS Project in East Sikkim.The distribution programme was organised by the Rongli Rural Project ICDS, Rongli Sub-division at Regu Block Administrative Centre yestrday. Chujachen MLA, Puran Kumar Gurung, was present as the chief guest.
Deputy Director, Narendra Chettri, detailed the aims and objectives of the ICDS Program while area MLA, Mr Gurung distributed the uniforms to the children of the ICDS Centre.
Others present at the programme were BDO Regu, Dhiraj Pradhan, Panchayat Secretary of Dalapchand GPU, MK Rai, ICDS Supervisor (Rhenock block), Chimi Bhutia, Supervisors (Rongli 1 & 2) Jeena Rai and KB Subba and Aganwadi Workers (AWW) of 65 ICDS Centers of Rongli and Rhenock Block.
