GANGTOK, 07 July: Football Club Association of Sikkim [FCAS] has dissolved its executive body and formed an adhoc body. This was decided in a general meeting of the association held on Sunday at Paljor Stadium.
A press release informs that the adhoc body has Bhaichung Bhutia as president, Nima Thendup Bhutia as vice president, Arjun Rai as vice president, Chewang Thendup Shangderpa as state chief coordinator, Phurba Sherpa as general secretary, Sumeet Thirani as treasurer, Pawan Wanz Rai as joint secretary, Sushant Subba as joint secretary [legal cell], Sagar Chhetri and Bijoy Gurung as media cell in-charges. The adhoc body has been formed in order to release government employees who were members of FCAS.
The meeting also discussed the future course of action after the call for boycott of the leagues organised by the Sikkim Football Association. The members also decided to organised an inter club football tournament soon, the release adds.
