GANGTOK, 07 July: A disaster management
drill and safety plan was hosted by the Army Public School here in
collaboration with the Sikkim Fire & Emergency Services department. Deputy
Chief Fire Officer, Inspector Prakash Rai, and his team displayed a safety
drill for the school, a press release informs.
Students of various classes participated in
the drill and were trained on how to respond as first responders in the event
of a natural or manmade disaster.
On behalf of the school management, the
Principal thanked the Fire & Emergency Services department for the School
Fire Safety Management Plan and Disaster Management plan.
