MANGAN, 06 July: A three-day basic adventure training was organized by Tholung Kesung Eco-Tourism Development Society here at Namprikdang in Upper Dzongu from 02 to 04 July. 76 participants from different schools of Dzongu such as Hee-Gyathang Senior Secondary School, Passingdang Secondary School and Lingdong Secondary School attended the training.
The training was mainly held to promote eco-tourism in Dzongu and the participants were trained on rock climbing, trekking, rafting and given tips on how to tackle emergencies in high altitudes. The training had Nima Tshering Tamang as instructor.
The final day of the training was attended by GVA Dzongu, Tshering Gyatso Bhutia accompanied by TKETDS president, Nima Lepcha, Pentong ward Panchayat Dup Tshering Lepcha and other officials.
