GANGTOK, 27 June: Sikkim Rehabilitation and Detoxification Society organized a program on the occasion of World Anti Drug Day at 32 No., Nimtar on 26 June. The programme began with a rally from the Rehabilitation Centre to 32 no Bazaar Petrol Pump participated by the people of 32 No., inmates of the Rehab Centre (Male/Female Wing), informs a press release.
The programme also included songs, skits and plays performed by the inmates of Sikkim Rehab Centre. The chief guest for the programme Project Director, SSACS, Dr. Uttam Pradhan, spoke on the government programs and projects on the issue, the release informs.
Rev. Joseph Tamang, president of the Sikkim Rehabilitation & Detoxification Society, P.I. Ranipool, and DIC SRDS, Dr. LB Limboo also addressed the programme.
The Program was also attended by SSACS officials, SRDS staff and the local public.
