GANGTOK, 30 Apr: Manjushree Mishra, a research scholar in the Department of Management Studies, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) has successfully defended her PhD thesis on 26 April, 2014 on the topic “Post reform industrial scenario of Sikkim with special reference to hydroelectricity, tourism, pharmaceuticals and tea” under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Ajeya Jha [Head, Dept. of Mgt. Studies, SMIT].
A press release informs that Mrs Mishra has been recommended for award of degree by the Board of Examiners of Sikkim Manipal University. The Doctor of Philosophy will be awarded to her during the forthcoming convocation.
Ms. Mishra is a Post-graduate from Utkal University, Vanivihar, Odisha, in Analytical and Applied Economics. She is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Science, at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Faculty coordinator of Departments of Humanities and Masters of Hospital Administration of the Sikkim Manipal University and In-charge, Faculty Development Programme of Sikkim Manipal University, the release mentions.
