East takes TT while South wins in volleyball at PYKKA games

GANGTOK, 20 Dec: At the ongoing PYKKA competition, Table Tennis finals were played here at Paljor Stadium with the Minister, HRDD, NK Pradhan present as the chief guest.

In the Girls category, first and second positions were bagged by East District followed by the North district in the third position. In the Boys category, East District took the first and third positions while North District took the second position.
East District was declared the overall winner of the tournament.  Also present on the occasion was president, State TT Association, CK Basnet.
In the volleyball tournament organized for both Girls and Boys at Guards Ground today, South District was declared as the winner of the tournament. In the Boys category, East District emerged as the winner defeating the South District while in the Girls category, South District bagged the first position defeating the East District.
