GANGTOK, 19 Dec: Students of Aho-Kishan Junior High School, East Sikkim, bagged two gold and four silver medals in the discipline of Wushu in the state-level PYKKA competition, informs a press release.
Tulanath Sharama (class VI) and Simon Darjee (class VII) won gold medals while Sunil Lepcha (class VII), Gyan Bahadur Chettri (class VI), Man Rani Rai (class VI) and Bindu Darjee (class VI) won silver medals at the competition, the release mentions.
Total 9 students had participated in the event which was held from 15-17 Dec at the Gymnasium Hall, Palzor Stadium.
Headmaster, Kiran Subba extended his appreciation to the students and congratulated the coach, Phurba Sherpa for his contribution and efforts, the release adds.
