Felicitation cum farewell programme at Lingtam Secondary School

GANGTOK, 25 Aug: Lingtam Secondary School marked the appointment of Headmaster Dorjee Sherpa as Deputy Director MDM, HRDD Gangtok with a special felicitation cum farewell  programme held on Saturday at the school premises.
A press release informs that the school bade farewell to Mr Sherpa along with two teachers, Jangbu Sherpa and Sandhya Chettri, and one non-teaching staff Passang Lhamu Sherpa. The programme started with the welcome address by RL Pradhan followed by offering of traditional khadas to the outgoing Headmaster and teachers by all.
The school family felicitated former headmaster of the school, Mr Sherpa with an angavastra and a felicitation letter during the programme. Out of his 31 years of service under HRDD, he has served 25 years at Lingtam SS in different capacities.
