Rumtek school hosts ‘Red Fest’

GANGTOK, 22 Nov: Sikkim State AIDS Control Society’s ‘Red Fest’ made its stop at Rumtek Senior Secondary School today. The ‘Positive Intervention’ in schools has travelled to three different schools till now.  According to a press release, forty students from among the senior classes were divided into eight different groups, each group consisting of five members. The teams were engaged in three competitive activities namely ‘Positive Quiz’, ‘Positive Minute’, and ‘Positive Impressions’. The sessions were facilitated by the anchor of Red Fest, Dewakar Basnet who in the course of the fun-filled activities, gave comprehensive knowledge about different aspects of HIV & AIDS, the release informs.
