A press release informs that Mr Subba was felicitated for his achievements in the discipline of Taekwondo at the International level at a programme organised by Darjeeling Zilla Prashasan.
Amongst others felicitated were Shyam Thapa, Bhaichung Bhutia, Sunil Chettri, Kapil Chettri, Anjan Datta, Prashant Tamang, Binod Pradhan and Paril Lepcha.
The citation was presented by Darjeeling MLA Trilok Dewan, Lalit Pariyar and Roshan Giri.
Trilok Subba has been felicitated earlier by Bharitya Gorkha Parisangh, "Martial arts Icon" by Kalimpong Sports Association(KSA),"Most Dedicated and Promising Sportsman" conferred by Kumudini School Pariwar and Chandramaya High School, the release mentions.
Mr Subba was also felicitated by World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) for Promotion and Development of Taekwondo in India.
“We the members of Sikkim Amateur Taekwondo Association (SATA) would like to extend our sincere thanks to all associations, schools and organisations who felicitated Mr Subba for his achievements in the field of Taekwondo at the International level”, the release adds.
