GANGTOK, 21 Mar: The two US nationals, Eric Reed and Brad Sanders, who had para-glided into Sikkim from Nepal on 14 March and were taken into custody by Sikkim Police at Uttarey on the border with Nepal in West Sikkim for having entered the State without valid travel documents were released on bail today, informed DIG [Range], N Sridhar Rao.
He further informed that the bail conditions require them to remain in Sikkim until the completion of the investigation and submission of the charge-sheet. The two have been booked under section 14 of the Foreigners Registration Act.
