JORETHANG, 15 Jan: The second day of the Jorethang Maghe Sankranti Mela 2015 was marked by an array of cultural programs and events. Speaker KN Rai was present as the chief guest on the second day. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest, KN Rai termed the mela as a cultural nucleus for people of all castes, creeds, faiths and social orders in Sikkim and urged the youth to give prominence to preserving this traditional mela. The three-day Jorethang Maghey Mela will conclude on 16 January.
