GANTGOK, 14 Apr: Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee [SPCC] has
expressed its gratitude towards the Sikkimese voters who turned up for the
Assembly and Lok Sabha polls held on 12 April.
In a press release, SPCC has thanked the Sikkimese people who
exercised their franchise upholding the democratic aspirations of the country.
The party has also begged pardon from voters for any misunderstanding or
shortcoming during its election campaign.
SPCC has also appealed to all the people to maintain a
congenial atmosphere even after the counting of votes on 16 May, next month.
Regardless of whichever party wins, everyone should come together to build a
good democratic atmosphere in the state, the party adds.
