GANGTOK, 12 Apr: 19th Bn SSB Gangtok organized a counseling workshop on “How to Tackle-Handle Growing Teenage Children” at Sandiksha Hall 19th Bn SSB Gangtok on 11 April.
A press release informs that the workshop was inaugurated by Deputy Commandant (Offg. Commandant) 19th Bn SSB Gangtok, Prafull Kumar accompanied by Assistant Commandant 19th Bn SSB Gangtok, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, President of Sandiksha, 19TH Bn SSB Gangtok, Romita Potsangbam and Vice-President of Sandiksha 19TH Bn SSB Gangtok, Debrati, as well as all the members of Sandiksha 19TH Bn.
The main aim and objective of the workshop was to educate, influence, sensitize, learn and to generate awareness among all the members of Sandiksha and parents/guardians about how to handle growing/teenage children in today’s day and age, the release informs.
Further, President of Sandiksha, 19TH Bn SSB Gangtok, Romita Potsangbam, addressed to Sandiksha members and spoke about the workshop on handling and caring of growing teenage children in present day. She also stressed on creating better understanding between parents/guardians and children of a family. The Sandiksha members also discussed and shared their views on the topic, it is added.
