The SDF workers later managed to escape, it is mentioned. The same SKM workers are then accused of torching the vehicle belonging to one Sonam Palzor later at night. The vehicle was parked at the bridge near the police booth at DPH. It is alleged that Chandra Chettri, one of those named in the FIR, was spotted on his motorcycle near the place where the vehicle was parked at around 1:30 a.m. in the morning of 18 April by a police patrol team.
The party has alleged that other complaints against some of the SKM workers have also been filed in the past where no action was taken. It has further demanded a detailed investigation into the alleged kidnapping and arson incident. SDF has demanded the arrest of all the accused. The party will also be filing a separate complaint to the Election Commission of India regarding the issue, it is informed.
