MANGAN, 16 June: A meeting to institutionalize smooth implementation of CCE guidelines was held here at Singbel JHS on 14 June, attended by SMC members, Panchayats, teachers, and guardians.
The ward Panchayat, HB Karki spoke on the new rules as formulated by CCE which have to be followed by the teachers and parents. He said that the teachers should be well informed about the CCE norms and follow the guidelines accordingly.
He also advised and requested the guardians to apprise themselves about the changing scenario of education and added that all children below the age of fourteen years must sent to the school.
The Headmaster assured that the teachers will follow all CCE norms and also sought cooperation from guardians for the all round development of the children. New SMC members were also nominated on the day.
The school headmaster requested for the implementation of the Mid-Day-Meal scheme and welcomed SHGs or any interested person to run the same.
Janga Bir Poudyal, a guardian talked about the problem of drinking water with the Panchayats and SMC in the school as well as in Singbel village.
A similar meeting at Makha Secondary School (Complex) had been organized on 08 June. Panchayats and parents decided to the responsibility of Mid-Day-Meal of Makha Secondary School to any SHG or other interested person.
