State cultural troupe calls on Governor at home in Karad

GANGTOK, 17 Dec: The 34-member troupe from Sikkim, led by LN Sharma, called on Governor Shriniwas Patil at his residence in Karad, Maharastra, today.
A press release informs that the troupe was accorded a traditional and warm welcome by the Governor and the First Lady, Rajanidevi Patil.
The Governor and the first lady also felicitated the group and lauded their “great performance” at the ongoing cultural tour of Maharastra. They further wished them all the success in their forthcoming endeavours, the release adds.
