GANGTOK, 09 Dec: Two books on Chief Minister Pawan Chamling are all set to be released on 14 December in Gangtok.
The book titled ‘Pavitra Kranti: Aadhargath Bhavabhumi’ is based on various aspects of Chief Minister Pawan Chamling’s political ideology and has been penned by Jagadish Sharma. The book has been published by Nirman Prakashan, Namchi.
The second book is an anthology of poems by Mr. Chamling published by Sajha Prakashan of Kathmandu, Nepal. The book will be released by noted literary figure Mahananda Poudyal, informed DR Nepal who is also convenor of the book release programme.
He further informed that the Chief Minister will not be attending the programme since it is a purely literary programme which is being organized by a group of intellectuals and litterateurs of the state.
The launch programme will be held in the mini-conference hall of Manan Kendra and retired Lecturer Rudra Poudyal will present a brief summary of the books, it is informed.
