GANGTOK, 17 July: A magisterial probe is underway to determine the death of an 18-year-old housewife. The deceased had married two years ago; her husband is reportedly a taxi driver by profession. On 16 July locals of Middle Lingding called the Sadar police informing them of the teenaged housewife’s suicide. A medico legal autopsy has been directed by the SDM, East, to ascertain the cause of death as per the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code.
