SKM door-to-door programme at Sumsi

GANGTOK, 15 Sept: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha conducted its door-to-door programme at Sumsi under Tumin-Lingee constituency on Saturday under the leadership of retired police officer T D Kazi. An SKM release alleges that the village has been denied all kinds of development and is reeling under poverty.
In the release, Jacob Khaling has alleged that basic needs like health, education and even infrastructures have been neglected in the village. During the programme, TD Kazi assured the people that if SKM party comes to power, justice will be delivered to them.
Highlighting on the resignation tendered by rebel SDF MLA of Upper Burtuk, PS Tamang, he said that the MLA’s resignation is a “historic” step which will end the ruling party’s 20-year rule.
The release also claims that 17 families have resigned from the ruling SDF party and joined SKM.
