TYC and Denzong Boys Jr register wins

SECOND DIVISION SIKKIM LEAGUE

GANGTOK, 03 Aug: After a string of losses, Tibetan Youth Club and Denzong Boys’ [Junior] registered victories today displaying good comeback in the second division Sikkim-League underway here at Paljor Stadium today.
In the first match, Tibetan YC thrashed Lower Arithang 4-0, while in the second match Denzong Boys’ outplayed Tathangchen Football Association by 3 goals to 2.

With the help of Phu Tshering’s goal in the 17th minute the first half concluded in favour of TYC 1-0. In the second half, TYC players made constant attacks and second success came in the form of Tashi’s goal in the 58th minute and soon his teammate, Kunga in the 63rd minute and Topgyal in the 68th minute added more goals for TYC.
Despite some good opportunities, Lower Arithang could not score today. 
In the second match of the day, Prabhat Rai opened the goal account for Denzong Boys’ in the 18th minute and the first half was heading towards closing at this score when the in the 43rd minute, Anand Sunar scored the second goal for Denzong Boys’.
Soon in the second half, Pratap Subba gave some relief to Tathangchen FA with his goal in the 46th minute but in the 68th minute Karma Thinlay stretched the lead Denzong Boys’. Despite of another goal by Pratap Subba in the 69th minute by complete his brace, Tathangchen FA lost the match.
