GANGTOK, 29 May: Campus interview was conducted by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. on 23 and 24 May at ATTC Bardang and 12 final year Diploma Engineers were selected.
The selected candidates are Arpan Sharma , Bhola Bhagat , Suman Dahal , Biswajit Sarkar , Riwaz Guragai , Sekhar Adhikari , Vivek Kumar , Sudarshan Gurung , Dinesh Bhattarai ,Sonu Kumar ,Tika Pd. Koirala and Bikash Adhikari, informs a press release. The monthly salary offered is about Rs.15,000/- along with other company benefits.
ATTC diploma engineers have been absorbed by various multinational companies in the last decade and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is one of the main recruiters in the ever growing list. The quality of students was highly appreciated by visiting representatives from the company, the release informs. The H.O.D (Mechatronics & Manufacturing Tech.), Lochan Adhikari , who is also in charge of the training and placement cell at ATTC proposed various modules for training of students and faculty of ATTC at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in the future.
Seeing the quality students offered by ATTC, a number of other companies have contacted the Placement Cell and have planned to visit the campus in the coming month, the release informs.
