DAFFODIL STUDENTS RAISE FUNDS FOR ORPHANAGE

Letters:-
The students of Daffodil’s Home Secondary School visited the ‘Balika Niketan’ orphanage located at Tadong, below Metro Point on Saturday. The students of 9th and 10th standard organized a fete at their school in order to collect some money for the orphanage. Everybody genuinely worked hard. The students sold products that were handmade by them and whatever money was collected they gave it to the orphanage.
The first thing they did on reaching there was interact with the children there. After the interaction, sweets, gifts and other items were distributed. There were 38 children in the orphanage and three wonderful wardens. The orphanage has three dormitories and one kitchen. The children of Balika Niketan are well cared for and protected and looked very happy and confident. They then said goodbye to the students of Daffodil’s Home. The students did a wonderful job and deserve appreciation.
“We cannot do great things but we can do small things with great love” said Mother Teresa and the students of Daffodil’s Home have proved it.
