West Point School’s Interact Club organizes blood donation camp

GANGTOK, 25 Oct: Interact club of West Point Senior Secondary School in collaboration with State Blood Transfusion Council STNM Hospital Gangtok organized Blood Donation Camp at the school premises today. The camp was sponsored by Rotary Club of Gangtok South.
A press release informs that 40 units of blood were collected in the camp where teachers, students and Rotarians donated blood.
Interact Club has thanked Dr. C M Sharma [Consultant cum HOD Blood Bank STNM Hospital], and all the staff of Central Blood Bank for the technical support. The Club has also extended its gratitude to Principal of the school, faculty advisor, Deoraj Bagdas for allowing the club to organize this camp. The Club has also thanked all the students who donated blood.
“We the members of Interact Club of West point Senior Secondary School would like to thank Prakash Sundas for his support in making this camp a success”, the release adds.
