Governor attends Sri Morari Bapu’s sermon

GANGTOK, 23 Sept: The Governor of Sikkim, Shriniwas Patil visited the religious sermon being held by Sri Morari Bapu at Hotel Rendezvous, Gangtok on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor lauded the social works being carried out by Sri Morari Bapu for the people of the country and also congratulated him for the stature he has achieved amongst religious leaders.
He also appreciated the people of Sikkim and the students in particular for having inculcated the spirit of patriotism and respect for the nation and its symbol and also highlighted the essence of ‘unity in diversity’.
In his speech, the Governor expressed his gratitude and thanked the jawans of the Indian Army for their relentless efforts in guarding our international borders both in Sikkim and rest of the country.
The Governor also appraised the gathering that as a citizen of this beautiful country, people should inculcate noble traits of obedience, dedication and devotion akin to that of Lord Rama and Sita.
