Recruitment of SIs for SAP deferred

FRESH VACANCIES FOR SIs IN SIKKIM POLICE TO BE NOTIFIED WITHIN A COUPLE OF MONTHS
GANGTOK, 07 Feb: The process of recruitment of 12 Sub-Inspectors in the Sikkim Armed Police [notified on 14 December 2010], and scheduled to start from 09 February [Wednesday], has been deferred by 2 to 3 months “due to unavoidable reasons”, informs a press communiqué received from the DIG [Range], Sikkim Police, today.
The DIG informs that fresh notifications inviting vacant posts of SIs in the Sikkim Police, and not exclusively in the Sikkim Armed Police, will be issued in due course.
As for the candidates who have already submitted their applications of the vacancies announced in December last and obtained proper receipt, they will not need to submit fresh applications when the new vacancies are advertised within a couple of months, the DIG adds.
