Nyungne Puja concludes with sermon by Marapa Rimpoche

NAMCHI, 12 Feb: The ongoing “Nyungne Puja” which began on 08 February here at Denchung Manilakhang Monastery concluded on 11 February with the spiritual blessings of Marapa Rinpoche from Dehradun along with the Wang blessed with long life for the devotees. “Nyungne Puja” was organized by Denchung Manilakhang Committee and it is informed that this puja is conducted for the well being of humanity and to wash away sins by undertaking fasting during the puja.
On the final day of the puja Marapa Rinpoche conducted the puja for the well being of all humanity and he also addressed devotees and followers. In his address he said that we commit many sins during our day to day life and according to Buddhism this “Nyungne Puja” will wash away the sins and heal our hearts and minds to live a life of love for every creation of god. He further told the audience to worship god but just making offerings to gods with earthly materials is not enough; we have to find the way of Mukti and cleanse our deeds in order to generate love for every creation. This, he said, would bring peace to the self and open the way of Moksha. He also thanked to the Manilakhang Committee of Denchung for their initiative in organizing the puja which is very hard to follow.
After the revered Rinpoche’s religious sermons Wang for the long life was also distributed to the followers and the devotees.
