MANGAN, 26 Mar: The General Observer Central, Tshering
Angchok visited the District election control room at Mangan today to take stock
of election preparedness. During his
visit he interacted with the Returning Officer North, TN Kazi and ARO, Raj Yadav
where the detailed functioning of the control room was explained by the RO and
ARO while SP North, Ram Niwas Yadav informed him about the law and order
situation.
The Observer enquired about the number of nominations filed
by the candidates and also enquired about issues related to the conduct of free
and fair election in the district. He also interacted with the officials on
duty at the control room. The Observer
will attend the scrutiny of nomination papers on Thursday i.e 27 March.
