NPS lifts ARCEIS basketball trophy

NAMCHI, 06 Apr: Namchi Public School’s Boys’ and Girls’ team have won this year’s ARCEIS Interschool, ‘AB’ division Basketball Tournament, 2014. The NPS teams won all their matches in the tourney.
In the finals, NPS Boys defeated Don Bosco School while the girls’ team outplayed St. Joseph’s School, Martam. A week earlier, they had also won the ‘CD’ division tourney.
Pratika Rai and Silash Rai of NPS bagged the Most Valuable Player honours in their respective categories.
