GANGTOK, 30 Mar: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha president Prem
Singh Tamang [Golay] met the people of Namthang today and interacted with the
people there, seeking their mandate and blessings. Mr. Tamang, it may be
recalled, shifted to Namthang-Ratyepani constituency in South Sikkim from his
earlier announced Chakung-Soreong constituency in West. This, in addition to
Upper Burtuk where Mr. Tamang addressed a campaign meeting on Friday.
An SKM press release informs that Mr. Tamang has been meeting
people in Namthang-Rateypani for the past two days and is receiving wide support..
Sitting Panchayat, KB Tamang, along with CEC member of the SDF,
Suk Bahadur Tamang, also joined SKM along with the ruling party’s constituency
level functionaries Man Bahadur Biswakarma, Krishna Bahadur Rai, Nanda Kumar
Rai, Sher Bahadur Pradhan and Susmita Basnett among them, the release adds.
