Sikkim Auto Expo announced for Feb 2012


GANGTOK, 15 Dec: The 1st Sikkim Auto Expo was announced today at Hotel Mayur with Transport Minister, TT Bhutia, as chief guest accompanied by the Gangtok Deputy Mayor, Shakti Singh, Transport Deptt officials, various stakeholders of the auto industry and the local public.

The brochure and website of the said expo was also launched today. The auto show is being organised by Outloud Enterprises, an advertisement, event management and consultancy firm based in Sikkim, at Guards Ground, Tathangchen from 08 to 12 Feb, informs a press release.
The five-day event will showcase all the major companies related to automobiles, auto components, auto accessories, auto finance, auto insurance, auto designers and modifiers, traffic signal systems, performance enhancing parts and equipments, adventure sports vehicles, construction vehicles and auto decorators, etc, the release informs.
The objective of this event is to bring all the buyers and sellers under one roof thereby giving the participating visitors, all the product related information as well as treating them to the latest advancements made in the field of automobile and auto components.
Automobiles being one of the fastest growing industries has huge potential for employment generation and economic advancement and in order to make the people of  the state tap into the advantages of this industry, this event will be of great importance, the release mentions.
Apart from the main exhibition, the event will also have a cultural show every evening. The cultural show of “Sikkim Trinity” will showcase the cultural heritage of our state to the participants and visitors from all over the country. A fashion show has also been planned to showcase talents of the state with outfit designs incorporating the ethnic touch of Sikkim fused with the latest fashion trends, the release adds.
