GANGTOK, 30 July: The state government has made
Additional Chief Secretary Alok Kumar Shrivastava Advisor to the Government of
Sikkim with immediate effect.
Mr. Shrivastava was given charge of Commerce and
Industries department after the general elections along with his post as Additional
Chief Secretary. The State government issued an office order on 28 July transferring
and appointing him Advisor to the government.
Chief Electoral Officer, D Anandan, has been given
additional charge of Secretary, Commerce & Industries, with immediate
effect.
Similarly, Sumitra Pradhan, Joint Secretary of Commerce
and Industries department has also been transferred to Home department [Protocol]
and Pempo P Pulger, who belongs to State General Services and was Principal
Private Secretary on deputation is repatriated and transferred and posted as
Joint Secretary in Commerce and Industries department.
