GANGTOK, 15 June: A two-day training on organic seed
production was organised by the Agriculture Department supported by ATMA-East
at Beng, Khamdong in East Sikkim from 14-15 June.
A press release informs that the resource persons for the
training were CM Upreti [Dy Director], Pratap Subba [ADO] and Vikram Das Rai
[farmer]. On the second day, demonstration of Maclhyon [organic manure] was
conducted.
Also present were Laxmi Rai [VLW], Safal Pandey [BTM] and
Rita Sunar [AI].
