NAMCHI, 15 June: Saga Dawa was celebrated with a colourful
and spiritual religious procession here on Thursday. The celebrations started
with prayers offered by Rinpoche Marpa at Namdroling Monastery at Boomtad,
following which monks and devotees took out a procession carrying scriptures
and chanting prayers. Prayers were offered at Alley Gumpa from where the
procession returned back Namdroling Monastery where the main puja was offered
by the Rinpoche and the monks.
