GANGTOK, 26 May:
One person was injured in a hit and run incident in Namchi. The accused is
absconding. As per the Sikkim Police social media page, a Maruti van hit a
pedestrian at Bhanjyang road and fled from the spot. The victim was taken to
Namchi Hospital and is out of danger. The accused driver abandoned the vehicle
at Salleybong and is absconding. Efforts are on to arrest the accused driver.
