NAMCHI, 12 Apr [IPR]: The first Polling team to return to
the Control Room from their respective Polling Station in South district was
11/10 from Singhithang Government Primary School under Namchi Singhithang
Constituency. The team handed the Polled EVMs along with the polling materials
to the concerned officials in the Strong Room.
As reported, the polls in Namchi Singhithang took place
peacefully with the Presiding and Polling officers fulfilling their duties in
an organized manner. The total number of electors for Assembly Constituency and
Parliamentary Constituency was 205 in each out of which a total of 159 votes
were cast for both Assembly and Parliamentary Constituency.
