81.77% voter turnout in South Sikkim.

GANGTOK, 12 Apr [IPR]: As, per the final data received from the South District Election office the total voting Percentage of today's Poll recorded last at 9:05 pm in South District for the 2014 General Elections  is 81.77% with 81.58% Male electors and 81.96% Female  electors. 

Voter turnout in South district till 5 pm today was 80.08%. Approximately 40,500 male and 39,800 female voters cast their votes in the district. At the time of filing this report, polling was still in process with 1,051 voters still waiting to cast their vote in various polling stations of South Sikkim.
