GANGTOK, 28 Mar: The Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] began its
election campaign from Khamdong-Singtam constituency today. The party’s
candidate from the constituency, Madan Kr Sharma started his campaign with the BJP
slogan “ghar-ghar Modi, dar-dar Modi, BJP
ko vote do, SDF aur SKM ko chhor do”.
He called for the need to bring BJP to power both at the
centre and state for a better future for both Sikkim and the nation.
The BJP is contesting the Lok Sabha elections and has
fielded 14 candidates for the Assembly elections.
