AN Jha, Secretary, 14th Finance Commission, Government of India, at the Labrang Monastery above Phodong in North Sikkim on Monday. Restoration work is being carried out at the monastery by the Cultural Affairs & Heritage Department under funds released as part of 13th Finance Commission Grant. He was accompanied by other officials from the Finance Commission and officials from the State Govt. He also visited the Tumlong palace ruins.
