MANGAN, 14 Nov: The district-level PYKKA sports have begun at different venues of Mangan District organised by the Zilla Panchayats and Department of Sports & Youth Affairs Department, North.
Competitions are being held in the disciplines of boxing, kho kho, Taekwondo, archery, wushu, athletics, badminton, football, table-tennis and volleyball for both, boys and girls of 21 GPUs of North District.
The finals of the District level PYKKA are scheduled for 20 Nov at Mangan and the selected teams will be sent for the state-level PYKKA sports meet. The programme was declared open on 12 Nov by Mangan Nagar Panchayat councilor, PK Malu.
