DALAPCHAND, 12 July: Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (SABLA) was launched in the presence of chief guest, East District Zilla Adhyakshya, Bimal Dawari, here at the Dalapchand Gram Prasashan Kendra’s conference hall yesterday.
Deputy Director, ICDS, Rongli, Narendra Chettri highlighted the aims and objectives of this new scheme while the chief guest distributed nutritional mix to adolescent girls present at the function.
The programme was also attended by, Dr. Hemta Pradhan, Panchayat President PC Rai along with all Panchayat members of Dalapchand GPU, Dalapchand Sec. School Headmaster ST Bhutia, YODESS executive secretary MK Gurung, Vidya Bharati School Dalapchand Principal Ajay Gurung, different NGO representatives, rural women, students of Dalapchand Secondary School.
