NAMCHI, 01 March: A Gospel programme-cum-Christian Musical Nite was organized at Bermiok-Tokal Shiloh Christian Church on 25 and 26 February, attended by more than 500 people of the area. The inaugural session of the programme was chaired by ADO, Agriculture Department, Patrick Namchyo, as chief guest and Pastor Dhurba ‘Sisya’ from Darjeeling as the main speaker.
Songs by Pastor Issac Chettri from Shiloh Christian Church, Singtam, Ajay Lumjel (a visually impaired singer from Kurseong), and local talent singer Joel Sarki were the highlights of the gospel programme. The programme was conducted by Andrew Chettri from Scripture Union, Gangtok while author ‘Bedanta Darsan Ko Prakash’ Pandit Madhav Psd. Upadhya was the main speaker on the final day of the programme.
