GANGTOK, 22 Feb: A new team of office-bearers of the Association of Roman Catholic Educational Institutions of Sikkim [ARCEIS] took charge on 19 Feb and held their first meeting of the year at St. Thomas’ School, Gangtok, informs a press release. ARCEIS is the representative body of the 26 Missionary Schools in Sikkim.
The new office bearers are, Rev. Fr. Paul D’ Souza as president, Secretary, Sr. Emilia Dias and Treasurer, Sr. Jessy Mathew.
A highlight of the meeting was a discussion on the ‘Right To Education Act’, moderated by Principal, Namchi Public School, Rev. Fr. George D’ Souza, the release informs.
